Great news comes to us from Anita Ahuja, the director of a production of SEVEN at the Winters Theatre Company in Sacramento, California.   The production was nominated for three Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance Elly awards–and brought home the win on one of them.

Says, Anita:  “The 35th SARTA Theatres Adult Elly Awards!!! Such an honor for three of the actresses in SEVEN to be nominated for their performances! I treasured directing this show and am thrilled that Shahzana Ali won the Best Supporting Female in a Drama Award for her portrayal of Mukhtar Mai!!! Congratulations to her and the entire cast and production team for SEVEN at the Winters Theatre Company!”
